Policies & Code of Conduct

Admission: 

  • Reserved seating only. 
  • A physical or digital ticket is required for entry for all guests.
  • All patrons, including small children, must have a ticket. 


Young Guest: 

Because of the mature nature of most of our productions, we generally recommend our shows for ages 13 and older. 

  • No accompanied minors ages 16 or under.
  • Every child must have a ticket. 
  • No child under 6 will be admitted to some of our experiences. 
  • For information about production content, please call Guest Services at


Ticket Sales: 

  • All sales are final.  
  • No refunds or exchanges.


Arrival & Seating:

  • Doors open 15 to 30 minutes before event/showtime.
  • Unclaimed seats may be released and filled 15 minutes prior to the performance. Please arrive on time.
  • Late seating is accommodated solely at management's discretion.


Accessibility: Wheelchair-accessible seating is available upon request.


Food & Beverage: 

  • Outside food and drinks are strictly prohibited on the premises.
  • Concessions—including assorted drinks, candy, chips, Fan-O-Grams, and souvenirs—will be available for purchase, with proceeds directly supporting our community outreach and scholarship programs. 


Smoking: 

  • Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes and vapes, is not permitted. 


Recording & Photos

  • Photography and video recording is strictly prohibited during the performance. Offenders may be removed without a refund. 
  • Your presence at a THT performance constitutes your consent to be photographed and or/recorded for our promotional use. 


Cancellations:

 In the unlikely event of a show/experience cancellation, we will notify guests as quickly as possible, typically via email, phone, website, and social media. Guests will be given the opportunity to move their tickets to another date of the production at no additional cost.

If a guest is not able to attend any of the remaining performances, they may do one of the following:


  • Select another production or experience of the current season to attend
  • Donate the value back to The Horizon Theatre for as a tax-deductible donation
  • Request the value to be held on account for future use in the same season
  • Request a refund


Firearms 

Firearms are not permitted. Firearms, including without limitation handguns, shotguns, and rifles (whether concealed or openly carried) are prohibited on any of our event premises.


Service Animals
THT welcomes animals that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Please let us know at the time of booking so that we may ensure both you and your service animal are seated comfortably. 


Content Advisory 

At The Horizon Theatre, we believe that live performance should be an enriching, entertaining, and thought-provoking experience. We welcome a community with diverse backgrounds and perspectives, and we recognize that sensitivity to content and subject matter varies from person to person.

The Horizon Theatre is committed to providing a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our guests. Guests are expected to behave appropriately and follow instructions of our THT personnel at all times. 


For the comfort, safety and security of all guests, staff, cast and crew, the following code of conduct has been established for all guests:

  • Respect other guests, performers and staff
  • Be responsible and aware of your behavior
  • Adhere to all venue policies including but not limited to photo/video policy
  • Sit only in assigned ticketed seat and show personnel tickets upon request
  • Consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner
  • Do not willfully and unreasonably disturb other guests nor interfere with our performers or events in any way
  • Supervise children so other guests aren’t disturbed
  • Latecomers will comply with late seating policy determined by our box office manager. 


All decisions are made at the discretion of The Horizon Theatre staff. Any guests who fail to behave appropriately may be refused admission to or ejected from our events without refund or compensation.

Note: Please include a detailed description of the item, the date and time of the performance you attended, and your seating section or seat number to help us assist you quickly.


 Waitlist Policy

For sold-out or at-capacity performances, patrons may join our waitlist at the Box Office.

  • Placement on the waitlist does not guarantee ticket availability.
  • Should seats become available, waitlisted patrons will be notified to purchase tickets at the standard full-price rate.

Note: Special offers, promotional codes, and discounts are not applicable to waitlist purchases.


Rush Ticket Policy

When inventory allows, a limited number of Rush Tickets may be released on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Timing: Sales begin 30 minutes prior to curtain at the Box Office.
  • Price & Payment: Tickets are $20 each, payable by cash only.
  • Limits: Maximum of two (2) tickets per person.


 Join us on stage immediately following select matinee performances for an engaging post-show conversation. 

These interactive sessions feature members of our Artistic Team, along with cast and creative team members from the production, offering behind-the-scenes insights into the show.

  • What to Expect: Audience members are invited to stay after the performance to listen to the panel discussion and participate in a brief Q&A session with the artists.
  • Admission: Post-show discussions are complimentary and open to all ticket holders of that day’s performance, unless noted otherwise.
